Hilma af Klint Keepsake Boxed Notecards
Hilma af Klint may well have been the first abstractionist; she was certainly a rare original. She attempted to reconcile art, science, and religious pluralism through her colorful, energetic, sometimes inscrutable paintings.
Determining that the world wasn’t ready, she decreed that her work not be exhibited for 20 years after her death. Now celebrated, four paintings in this set of keepsake notecards were selected from one of af Klint’s most imaginative and productive periods of experimentation.
