Tibetan Brass Singing Bowl

The name originates in the ability to create a sustained musical note by rotating a wooden mallet along the outside edge. Used in Tibetan & Buddhist rituals, singing bowls are a spiritual tool for use while praying or meditating.  Singing bowls are widely used as a form of relaxation and some believe the sound can impact the 7 chakras (energy points) in the body.  This bowl has an ornate 5-pointed star as its inner center point – a beautiful design feature.  Includes wooden mallet.
